The Capable Families and Youth (CaFaY) Study is
another large-scale longitudinal study of family- and school-based
programs designed to prevent teen substance abuse and other problem
behaviors through youth and family skills training. Funded by the
National Institute on Drug Abuse, the CaFaY study includes
evaluations of the Strengthening Families Program: 10-14 and the
school-based Life Skills Training Program.
Richard Spoth is the principal investigator,
Gilbert Botvin from Cornell University is the co-principal
investigator, Cleve Redmond, Virginia Molgaard and Daniel Russell
are co-investigators. |
